Rooibos

Rooibos

Harvested traditionally by locals

Roobios is a rarity, found only in the Cederberg area on the west cape of South Africa. Stories of the plant date back hundreds of years, with locals harvesting the leaf using traditional farming methods, they would then oxidise the leaves a drink as tea.

Provides hair a great shine

But how do we cultivate it and use it? The leaf is harvest once a year in January using traditional and modern methods. The leaves are then fermented using a natural oxidative process which gives the leaves their lush reddish-brown colour and provides shine to your hair.

Roobios is our hero ingredient in our Moisture & Shine range.
